Villa Tareja is located in the countryside near São Brás de Alportel about 20 km inland above Faro. São Brás a quiet town with a historic centre overlooking the coastline and the sea of Faro. Villa Tareja is ideal situated for a varied holiday. The surroundings are of great beauty and liveliness is never far away. Within 25 minutes you can enjoy nature, beaches, several towns, culture, shopping, food, hiking, biking, swimming and golf. Not just Faro, Tavira, Olhāo, Loulé and Silves are nearby, but also Seville (2 hours) and Lisbon (2.5 hours) are within reach for a day trip. The villa is located directly on the Via Algarviana, the official hiking trail right through the Algarve, and the nature reserve Ribeira de Alportel where you can hike, run or mountain biking. From Faro to Tavira there are several idyllic beaches on the Ria Formosa lagoon as well as wide sandy beaches on the Atlantic coast. Golfers will find the best golf courses in Europe in the nearby area.
